Lennis Watts

Lennis E. Watts, age 94, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2012. She was born October 5, 1917 in Benton, Arkansas. Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and the oldest member of Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy Elizabeth Wise; husband, John Allen Watts and a daughter, Doris Keesee.

She is survived by four children, James Watts and wife June, Hazel Drennan and husband Gene, Ambrose Watts and wife Laurie and Larry Watts and wife Pam; fifteen grandchildren, Kathy Goff, Debbie Gibson, Kevin Drennan, Randy Keesee, Rusty Keesee, Bart Watts, Brett Watts, Derek Watts, Jason Watts, Denise Young, Wesley Locke, Jessica Hunt, Carol Childs, Linda Hyde and Wes Gardner; twenty-one great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24 at Ashby Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Old Rosemont Cemetery. Bro. Cecil Hyde will be officiating.

Memorials may be made to Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church.
